You're sure its snow and not hail or anything :?:

How high are the hills that its on, As it feels very warm where I am today.

I think we might see an unusual season, Autmn, Of cold and frosty and possibly snowy nights followed by very warm days.

You know, Like in the deserts.

By that I do mean the vast expanses of sand in hot reigions and not chocolate pudding.

Well guys, I only saw it briefly as I was driving up the Glen. It was about 15 miles away, so I can't be sure it's not hail. :? :? By "light" I mean it makes the peaks look grey! :D

It's not that unusual really - in 1993, we had it in July. I think the upper air must be quite cold. The munroes are peaks over 3000 feet high!

Sounds promising for the next few days tho....

I think from Tuesday onwards we've had it.... no more snow until the next cooler period of weather which could be.. well, a while now.

The freezing level is currently 1500m in Scotland, so the summits of the Gorms and Nevis are surely seeing some snow in showers, they must be. :D

There's snow on the hills [over about 2000ft I'd guess] this morning! :D:D8)

I thought there would be - as it was lashing with rain at 4C last night! 8)
