Well despite a cracking thunderstorm clearing the air somewhat, it still feels quite humid and warm here. Hopefully the fresher weather will follow during the night, because I don't want to be tossing and turning like last night, I've got work tomorrow. B)

Currently a nice cooler and fresher 19c outside (23.7c in my office - OON)

Some really loud rumbles of thunder over towards Scarborough way (thought I had Radio 1's Dance Anthems on too loud B) )

Report for Sunday 19th June 2005, Readings taken at 00:00.

A wonderfully hot day, the highest maximum since August 10th 2003. The temperature last night fell a little lower than the previous, but by 9am it was already 25°C. It was a mostly sunny day, but plagued by mist. From mid-afternoon cloud built and it threatened to rain, only for the showers to completely miss this location, despite areas both 10 miles to the north and south getting a thorough soaking. It is currently hot and humid, looking very uncomfortable for sleeping (28.0°C Inside temperature). With another day well above the expected values of June, the average temperature is now fast approaching 1°C above the long term average.

Current Temp: 19.0°C

Max Temp: 29.5°C (at 13:36)

Min Temp: 14.1°C (at 05:13)

Humidity: 82%

Min Humidity: 59% (at 14:15)

Pressure: 1012.8hPa (Falling)

Dewpoint: 15.8°C

Wind: N (Calm)

Rain Today: 0.0mm

My June average currently stands at 14.9°C (+0.8°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
