A wonderful day, with lots of sunshine and a pleasant feel despite being hot. The morning and early afternoon saw cloudless skies allowing a maximum temperature of 29.8°C - the warmest July day on my records. Humidity was quite low and there was a light south-easterly breeze aswell, which took the edge off and made it feel more comfortable. The late-afternoon saw a little cloud come over, turning the sunshine hazy for a while, but this burnt off after a couple of hours.
