Overall, not a bad day. A bit cloudy a.m. but sunny and quite warm p.m. Temperatures rose to about 24.5C by 15.00 though I did feel a spot of rain as the sky grew dark at dinner time.

Rainfall : 1.0mm

That means that July's stats for Yatton are as follows:

Rainfall : 50mm

Temperature : 23.3C

Most Common Wind Direction : SW

Average Wind Speed : 4.67MPH

Average Visibility : Very Good

Not a bad month overall. Like so many people, my idea of a summer is a week of hot sunshine then a smashing thunderstorm, not quite so bad that something like Boscastle happens though. Cheerio, see ya next month. :)

Report for Sunday 31st July 2005, Readings taken at 23:50.

After an overcast start with occasional light drizzle it dried up by mid-morning, but remained fairly cold. The cloud did break later in the afternoon though, allowing some sunny spells into the early evening. During these sunny spells it felt warmer, but only reaching a maximum of 17.8°C, below average for the time of year. Tonight has seen clear skies and a total lack of wind allowing the temperature to fall. With the wet start not amounting to anything much, my July rainfall total is still 68.0mm, 110% of average.

Current Temp: 11.2°C

Max Temp: 17.8°C (at 18:27)

Min Temp: 10.8°C (at 23:25)

Humidity: 84%

Min Humidity: 60% (at 18:32)

Pressure: 1015.7hPa (Rising)

Dewpoint: 8.5°C

Wind: NE (Calm)

Rain Today: Trace

My July average currently stands at 17.6°C (+1.1°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
