Dull AGAIN, with some fog in the morning.

Sunshine for NE England 1st-15th Oct was only 51% of average according to the stats at Climate-uk, and I can believe it.

I'll post the 24 hr readings at 8:45 am tomorrow.

A dry and pleasant day with broken stratus, but rather gloomy thanks to the low level cloud and low sun elavation. Occasional proper sunshine. Light SE breeze, which has picked up to 15 mph in the past hour. Mild.

Report for Monday 17th October 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

A warm and sunny start quickly gave way to a totally overcast and dull day. It was once again mild for the time of year, especially so where the minimum temperature is concerned. With little wind and relatively high humidity, it felt warmer than the temperature would suggest, though it gradually cooled from midday onwards.

Current Temp: 11.4°C

Max Temp: 16.5°C (at 11:40)

Min Temp: 11.4°C (Current)

Humidity: 84%

Min Humidity: 79% (at 14:06)

Pressure: 1020.9hPa (Falling)

Dewpoint: 8.7°C

Wind: ESE (Calm)

Rain Today: 0.0mm

My October average currently stands at 13.9°C (+3.2°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
