Snow early this morning, turning to sleet, hail and freezing rain from about 0700 until shortly after 1015. Thick fog all day, eventually clearing around 1600. A slow thaw of lying snow after 1100.

A dry day here. No snbow to report on yesterday although there was quite a dumping about 30 miles from me.

Woke up this morning to a mini snow blizzard, which turned into sleet and then rain which has only just stopped. Very wet,cold,windy and 'orrible here

The day began overcast with light snow and a strong southerly wind. This gradually turned to sleet by midday before stopping completely an hour later. It then became rather misty, thickening to fog in the evening. With a maxima of 2.6°C and minima of -2.7°C it was another exceptionally below average day for the time of year and only allowed a partial thaw.
