Please post all reports of wintriness in here for today, may be some snow later for the South East, It may turn out that you will need 200 days of this type of snow to even see it :D:D

Well, you southern nambies haven't got a monopoly on snow you know. If you look at Mallerstang, Cross Fell and the hills around Ullswater this morning, you can, if you look very hard (through a polorised filter) make out what looks to be the very merest dusting of snow above 2000ft.

1530z radar showing light to moderate rain/sleet/hail showers now across coastal parts of Suffolk, Essex and North Kent - with one right over the Isle of Sheppey.

Band of more moderate showers (mostly rain) has developed in the English Channel running showers into Normandy.

On my way home from work at 17:45 the light rain suddenly turned to heavy wet snow which in the strong wind looked pretty impressive, shame it only lasted a short while. :D

    Hi All

Just looked at the N-W Extra ppn radar, there is a nice bunch of wintery ppn heading round the top of Holland and hopefully tracking towards the south east, maybe gaining in intesity a bit as it comes?, or am I just being hopeful..

    Cheers
