we have in the last twenty mins got some very slate grey skys, almost a sign i feel that we may be in line for some thunder hail like yesterday afternoon, a further note is that the bbc say we could have a covering of snow down here by tomorrow morning (all be it short lived) :lol:

Day started off grey but it then cleared and we had a beautiful springlike day with lots of blue skies and sunshine. Now it is really starting to cloud over and go dark. A breeze picked up as it did but now it is deathly still. Hopefully the calm before the storm !

A period of steady rain/sleet just stopped,lasted for 2 hrs approx.

2 hail storms - violent ones- this pm. A small amount of wet snow and in between we had warm sunshine. Temp up and down like crazy.

Temp now dropped to 3.9C

Feels really chilly and is very dark.

After a beautiful clear morning, there were some hail showers this afternoon adn gorgeous cloud effects. The temperature was contrasting all the time - warm in the sun/cold after a shower. Now the sky is blue to the east and jet black to the west with thunder booming every now and again. I think something big is on the way. Top temperature was 11.2C.
