Feeling very mild and breezy down here at about 17C. 4/8 big cumulus, and a wind from the ESE at about force 3. The woods are wet after some heavy overnight rain, but this raining in the night and sunny in the day business is very good for the soul! T-shirt and shorts, in the garden, despite the breeze.

Evening everyone,

After a dull and misty start, a thunderstorm moved close to the area around 9:30am, giving a few flashes of lightening and 3 or 4 rumbles of thunder, which only lasted about half an hour. Around 10am the sun came out produced yet another sunny warm and pleasant day.

Currently in Burton, fine, increasing amounts of cirrus and cirrostratus beginning to move across.

Thick fog to start the day as we were sitting in low cloud. A short but heavy shower with a few rumbles of thunder between 1000 and 1030, this was followed by a rapid clearance of both fog and cloud. The rest of the day was dry with sunny periods.

Max' temp' was 18.6c. Rainfall from 0900 to 1800, 2.3 mm

Sunshine today, 4.94 hrs. Highest gust, 22 mph E at 11.45 g.m.t.
