The rain has finally stopped here and the sun is shining from a mainly blue shy with 3/8 Cu, at last. Winds are fairly fresh and just trned South-Westerly, but it's time to risk it in the garden, with shorts and a T-shirt. Not bad for the penultimate day in September! Lovely visibility.

After a brief sunny start it quickly became overcast with rain moving in. The rain was very heavy indeed around midday, with over 16mm falling in less than an hour and frequent thunder. It then became brighter again during the afternoon, with sunny spells before clouding over again during the evening with occasional showers. Temperatures were above average once again, with the humidity making it feel rather uncomfortable at times.
