    Feels almost like I remember Scotland to be :blink:

    12mm rain so far and still raining.

    Temp 9.7 Sea looking very rough, wouldn't enjoy a Channel crossing today.

    SEPA have said 'no significant rainfall expected' and river levels are expected to fall. (as 2pm this afternoon)

    Hmmm. The last 30mins has been very significant in terms of rainfall!

    Another very high max' for December during the early hours of this morning, temp' reached 11.3c at 0324. A spell of moderate-heavy rain from around 0500 until 0830 as the cold front moved through, the temp' fell 5c after the front.

    The day was dry with the south eastern half of the sky covered by a veil of cirrostratus and the western half almost cloudless after 1100. Almost no sunshine as a reult of the high cloud moving at a slower pace than the passage of the sun across the sky, by the time the cloud has retreated towards the south eastern horizon the sun had disappeared behind the moor.

    Rainfall from 1800 yesterday to 0900 today, 12.1mm

    Sunshine today, 0.15 hrs

    Max' temp' 6.6c after an overnight min' of 6.1c

    Highest gust 54 mph SW at 0239.

    At 1800 there was 1 okta cirrostratus. Mean wind speed 24 mph W. Vis' 30 miles. Temp' 4.0c
