Historic Weather on 7th July

Hello all

I hope this is the correct place to start a new topic.

On Christmas Day, I asked my partner if he would like to have a Civil Ceremony with me. We have decided to go for 7th July 2007 (7/7/07 - it the only way I'd remember the day in the future ).

What we were wondering, is what the weather was like on the 7th July in previous years - ie would full morning suits be too much?

Any help would be gratefully received

2006 - Cool and showery overall but sunnier in the southwest

2005 - Unsettled with showers in the east but drier with sunny spells in the west

2004 - Generally cool and wet, very cool for the summer over the country

2003 - Sunny spells for most of the country but cloudier in the north

2002 - Cool and drizzly over the west with low cloud, dull elsewhere

2001 - Warm and humid with thundery downpours in the south and west

2000 - Cool and mostly dry but cloudy in most places
