Afternoon,

Reports of 80f plus coming out of SW France this afternoon. Just amazing. That pocket of warm air looks on track for my part of the Alps early next week.

A whole bunch of high temps south of Brest/NW Spain, North Africa is as hot (the source area?) so maybe some 'pluming' into the SE as it rises and travels east?
