Afternoon all,

Has been a very interesting day, sunshine, gale force winds, hail, sleet and this afternoon and temporary blizzard + crack of thunder to boot, that created white out conditions for about 10 mins.

The temperature drop was very dramatic, from around 6c at the storms onset to near freezing in a very short space of time.

Still some snow left on the grass where it drifted.

Quite an interesting day with a gale force NW wind and plenty of sunshine. This afternoon has seen some brief hail and sleet showers racing through on the wind. Max 6c (as it was at 08.00), temp has been steady through the day and is now 5c with a sunny/windy end to the day.
