    Overcast and misty with the stratus lowering to give fog at times. There was a short heavy shower around 0700 but it's been dry since then. Temp' is 7.5c and the wind is 22 mph NE. Vis' between 300 yds and 1 mile.

    Rainfall from 1800 g.m.t yesterday, 2.0 mm.

    9-45am,part cloudy with a light to moderate easterly wind (I expected the low cloud would not break here until 11 am at the earliest (wrong again), temperature 11.7c,humidity 53%, barometer 1030 mb and steady. It certainly feels chilly in the wind.

    Low cloud lingered until about 14.00 before clearing to unbroken sunshine.

    Hazier since 17.00 with a lovely sunset as a result.

    Quite a brisk Easterly breeze at times, max 17c. Temp now 14c.

    Cloudy and cool all morning, the stratus eventually breaking around 1.30 p.m to give a mainly sunny afternoon.

    With a f4-5 NE wind all day it never felt particularly warm despite a max' of 13.3c.

    Highest gust today was 36 mph at 1155 g.m.t.

    Currently the temp' is 8.5c and the wind, 20 mph NE. 3 oktas cirrus and cirrostratus. Vis', 30 miles.

    Sunshine today, 3.97 hrs.
