Pressure down to 1002.2 wind has picked up and according to NW radar , there is some heavy rain approaching this location, knowing my luck the Pennines will block this again , however , with the pressure faling has it has been today , its looking pretty good for the much needed rain

Well, been pleasantlt surprised by the amount of rain falling here today. i should think we must have caught as much rain as anywhere, having rained pretty well constantly from the early hours until after 1.30pm, giving us a grand total of 19.5mm so far...............

A fairly decent bank holiday monday over all, a couple short heavy showers this morning but the afternoon was mainly sunny and felt warm out of the wind. Now there is broken cloud and it's still quite breezy.
