Slight Risk for today, start point is Gillette (Wy) so not that far to get into the Slight Risk area, probably jaunt east into Nebraska, or South East into Kansas on current thinking, will not make the Wisconsin Tornado Risk today.

Please feel free to add your thoughts on a Target area.

Think you'll have the best shot at daylight video of severe storms in eastern NE near Lincoln, the state capital and one of America's premier hog marketing centres, so keep the windows closed (it's turning into a theme). :)

The lads were on those storms, now in Cheyenne heading S/E towards Wray.

Good call Roger, though i think the storms are a little further south and moving in a easterly direction, plenty of severe thunderstorms at the moment, if the team are still heading towards Wray i'd imagine they probably there now or just about, may head a little further south to intercept, though they'd have to travel another 90 mile or so.

I think the Wray thing might work out, notice there's a second line of heavy storms coming off the Front Ranges of the Rockies west of there now (7:50 pm MDT so sun still up). Otherwise, it's near the NE-KS border well east of where they seem to be, for severe storms, and nothing too earth-shaking either so far.

They might as well take in some of the Rocky Mountain scenery while over here, and if it's a quieter day tomorrow I would say go south to Colorado Springs and see Pikes Peak, or if they want to drive a bit further, go west of Denver into the Rockies, you drive from mile high Denver to two mile high passes through the Rockies in about an hour.

It will be interesting to hear what they saw and did today, that's quite a spectacular stretch of country they were driving through, hopefully Dick Cheney was not out hunting. :)

Great Chase day today, saw amazing Rotating Wall Cloud, might even have captured another Tornado, will go through footage near to Fort Morgan, 80mph down Dirt tracks again with my main Barons operator Ian guiding us through. Lovely shots of the Supercell with RFD Slot, this car loves dirt roads!! The team split at Cheyenne, with Steves group going south and us East then South, we were probably on the same storm just east of Denver, we went down the East side in the precip free area, currently in the Comfort Inn at Limon (Colorado) after escaping the nasty hail cores. All in all a great chase today with another 450 miles on the clock.

Thanks Nathan

It was like Kansas all over again today, we had 11 miles to get down a dirt road and find an east dirt road with the Supercell advancing upon us, Ians face was a picture with 5 areas of rotation on the Barons barely 4 miles to our west.
