It's a lovely, bright morning with long sunny spells. Fair weather cumulus scattered in a mostly blue sky with cirrus edging in from the NW/W. Temp at present is 13c with a gentle NE breeze.

Superb visibilites to day with some hefty showers to the west and north where the hills this morning had a fair cover of snow down to 2500 feet. Presently 10c here with fresh W wind bright sunshine and light rain and hail showers and still a dusting of snow on the tops. An April day in May!!!!

Never recorded any thunder/lightning i'm afraid so i don't think it is. Rain is lighter here now but if i look north its seems to be pouring down.

Just had 4 flashes of lightning not quite overhead , in the space of about 10-15 mins, didnt see any CG or CC , definately in-cloud, heavy 2-3 minute shower with hail.
