100mm or so locally is the latest Met Office warning :)

Looks like Im right in the firing line too. Many areas in nearby Hull had very nasty flooding the other Friday and only 40-50mm fell then. 100mm would be very bad indeed, the ground is still saturated and the clean up still underway.

Funny how variable the rainfall distribution has been this June. We've missed most of the showery activity and got of very lightly with todays rain event as well so far.......

January -87

February - 74

March - 43

April - 1.5

May - 167

June - 62mm so far..........

But based on what I've seen out and about on my travels, the lack of rainfall in April seems now a most distant memory!

A top ten May and June, and the wettest May-June [eriod on record, looks like we will be on course.
