Welcome to the voting to select the best photos of June 2007. We're down to six finalists in the weather related photo competition and five in the non-weather category.

Thanks to all those who voted in the first round.

So, as always, there can be only one winner for each category

This competition was for photos taken during June. The winning shot in the weather related competition will form part of the 2008 netweather.tv Calendar.

Voting will end at 12 noon Tuesday 31st July.

Voting on the July 2007 Photo Comp will then begin a few days later :)

Voting is as simple as simply clicking in the poll for your favourite picture. These are the photos that made it through to the final round (in alphabetical order):

Well I found this extremely difficult, as there are some super photos.

In the end it had to be Filski's for the weather related section, as I think it is an oustanding picture.

For the Non weather section, I went for OON's stuffed squirrel B)

Well done everyone. B)

Great shots again everyone, but I keep being drawn back to Filski's evocative shot for the weather section and Desperately Seeking's superb capture of the Red Arrows.

Both are superb. :(

Neck and neck this month.

With an entry like FILSKI's no-one else really looks like there in with a chance as it's such a super shot (except for the old man who took the photo of the Squirrel of course, but then again, his votes are fixed).

Kar999...that looks frightning...would of loved to seen that

It was the storm over Shropshire that caused major flooding on 19 June.

I'd never seen a sky quite like it before in all the years of living where I do.

Good luck to all the entrants.

Well, its Filski for me for the weather picture due to the dynamics of the clouds and the way the light changes before and after the clouds in the picture, and Desperately Seeking for Non-weather, a very difficult shot to obtain, and a lot of luck, being in exactly the right spot to be dead in line with the leading aircraft and also just as they break formation and change from normal white trailing smoke to the colours. You could spend a very long time trying to capture that picture on purpose.

But, well done everyone, all are awesome in their own rights!

Hear hear !

Matches my votes and thoughts exactly .. :)

Superb entries all.

Btw, the Red Arrows flew directly over my little E.Yorks village street yesterday in

formation, but just with 'white smoke' and there was NO chance of taking their photo !! lol

Thanks,

BL.

I think it's time to bring in a rule about no aircraft photos in the non weather related section.

Now I'm feeling victimised....

Filski 1 for me an amazing picture

Don't often vote in these comps because there are so many fantastic photos and I don't feel qualified enough to judge (also I don't like upsetting OON too often ...). I don't want to pitch into the June result before it's over, but by 'eck that photo by Filski took my breath away when I first saw it. Quite amazing. If it wins I take it it'll go into the NW 2008 Calendar if such a thing exists?

All the others are fab too though.
