VOTE - August Photo Competitions

So, after a short delay to this month's voting - here it is! Treat 'em mean to keep 'em keen I say... :o

The time to submit your shots has now finished, the entries are in and verified and the Galleries are uploaded for you to choose your favourites, so why not have a go at voting.

IMPORTANT: Once again this month, we have both the 'weather' and 'non-weather' categories in the gallery for a simultaneous vote.

NON WEATHER PHOTOS

Voting is easy. Simply have a look through the TWO galleries and decide on your five favourite photos from each - so that's TEN PHOTO CHOICES IN TOTAL. Then post your choices by replying in this thread.

An example - if you like OS N1.jpg, simply list OS N1 as one of your top five photos for each category (ten in total) in your post below. As you will notice the numbers of all the non-weather photos are prefixed with an 'N' - please quote this.

If I have missed your photo and it's not in the gallery - please let me know.

The most popular choices with then be entered into the final, which will be held later in the month, after this vote closes on Monday 24th September at 18h00.

The winning 'weather' category entry will appear in the 2008 netweather.tv Calendar.

There are 69 entries in the 'weather' category and 43 entries in the 'non-weather' category.

You don't have to vote in both categories if you don't want to - or you can do up to five at at any time on different days - that's fine

You can have too much of a good thing however! Several photos in the weather section seem to be duplicated, including my three. While it's nice to have an extra chance of getting votes, you might want to delete the doubles!

Some superb shots again this month. It isn't getting any easier to choose winners.

... before noting that my pix are in the wrong categories... The three weather pix are in the Non-weather, and the two non-weather in the weather. As they all seem to involve sunsets or completely blue skies, I understand the confusion...
