Cold night, frosty morning (ice on the windscreen- that's a rarity in October these days)- now it's sunny or would be were it not for the worst contrail pollution I've seen yet- there must be at least 50, probably nearer 100, of the damn things covering the sky in every direction. It's so bad that they are visibly blocking the sun at times- come on powers that be, stop going after car drivers and do something about this environmental menace!

A really beautiful day .

The temp started at 2c with ground frost. It was sunny all morning and then hazier through the afternoon with Cirrus causing 'lightbulb sun'. Max was 14c and the day ended with a stunning sunset.
