Thick freezing fog persisted all morning, the temp' eventually getting to 0c by 1315, the fog then thinned to mist and there were a few glimpses of sunshine before high and medium level cloud, with stratus below, moved in to give a cloudy, dry and rather chilly afternoon. All the trees and bushes have a circle of fallen rime beneath them.
