A much quieter morning than recently with lighter winds. At 09:00, bright and dry, but with a good deal of thin high cloud. The morning saw further brightness, but cloud increased and lowered to total overcast by mid afternoon and it became quite dull, though stayed dry. The evening continued overcast with just some slight rain. Maximum temperature 9.9c.
