Yesterdays rain cleared around 9pm with clear skies, frost, ice and shallow fog following. The minimum air temperature fell to –1.9c and the grass minimum –4.5c, so a cold but sunny start with the frost, ice and fog quickly lifting. The morning continued bright, but with increasing cloud and a couple of light showers. The afternoon saw further sunny spells and was dry. Top temperature 10c. Rain 1mm.

A torrential rain shower just passed through Lincoln at about 2:15-2:20 but Neweather radar shows nothing of the sort just light rain. It was bouncing off the ground though it was so heavy.
