Swept the snow off the grass to show depth

Same...

Front garden...

Front garden...

Close up of snow...

Close up of snow to illustrate deepness of snow on the grass compared to relatively nothing on the path...

Dusting on garden path...

For some reason, i can't remember what colour the car is?!

Quite impressive icicles dangling from shed...

Bucket straining under the weight of snow!

Garden rockery or a huge snow drift :)

The fuschias are well and truly dead and if they weren't they're suffocating now!

Drift in the corner. Even stacked up on the flat door hinge!...

Garden path with snow either side

Snow swept away to show snow depth...

Front garden in sunlight...

Garden just before sun encroaches...

The snow was quite dry and powdery rather than wet. It was quite difficult to make a snowball out of it until the sun got to it. The flakes must have been massive because it stuck to everything-the telephone cable was 2 inches in circumference! Shame i slept through it.Oh well what a nice surprise! Quite hard to illustrate how deep it was becuase i couldn't find a ruler. The pic of the car is probably best due to everyone having one/seeing one and the fence behind the car on top is steeped in snow to give perspective. I do like the icicles though! ENJOY and please feel free to comment.....

Sorry techical difficulties....don't know how to upload pics....can anyone help please!?

Just had a look at the post, you haven't actually uploaded the images? You have just typed out the file names?

You need to click browse (bottom right of posting screen) select the file you want on your hard drive then hit upload. Do it for every image then attach them or if you cant work it out i'll attach them for you :)

aha. I think i know what i've done. When i went into manage attachment, i clicked the thing with a page with a green tick rather than the thing furthest on the right, which is blue in colour. Is this right?

You say that clicking on the red thing gets rid of it. I did that for everyone be becuase when the manage current attachments box had 5 pics in it i couldn't upload anymore i think. But i musn't have clicked the button properly. But now it keeps saying i have not chose a file to upload and i can't find the dit button for my post! Nightmare and it don't help when i'm thick!

You're not being thick: it's taken me several attempts to get it right when I've tried (or maybe I'm being thick too). Is there a limit on how much can be uploaded at one time? The one that has worked is over 3.7 mB.

i'll give this a go later on. Took me ages to construct that first post!

For some reason the 1 i edited at the bottom of the first post worked but it is the same size as the others. It's taken with a 10 megapixel camera but i doubt that has anything to do with it. I'm lost and confused!

You think that there are too many megapixels for want of a better word?! Would i go onto paint and resize like that or not? Thanks

It now keeps saying that i did not select a file to upload when clearly i did...

Thanks weathermaster regarding resizing

I'll retry this with a fresh head either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for all the help guys as it is very much appreciated

Once you click on the file make sure you click upload and down at the bottom right side it should have a green button saying upload sucessful if not then it would be red and would say upload failed.
