This showery flow has been disappointing here in the sense there was no thunder but I did get a few pictures of some cloud developments with my mate's camera. His camera is awful so sorry about the colour balance and graininess in some of them!

Pics are cumulus turning into cumulonimbus and some mammatus formations.

Very impressive cloud formations- I'd say they're easily up there with the ones I've been seeing in Norfolk, despite them not producing any thunder.

Very nice and I must say how sophisticated and cosmopolitan Lincoln waterside looks these days

Hi there, what time were they taken because we had thunder about 12 miles west of lincoln at around 1pm yesterday and the clouds headed toward Lincoln. The hail that fell was awesome and there was very impressive mammatus on the back edge. Wondered if it was the same system.

The mammatus cloud formation was indeed under the cells that would have been 12 miles west of Lincoln at 1pm, they passed us at about 1:40pm with hail but no thunder. The developing cell was a different cell seen at 4:16pm going to the North of Lincoln.
