    Had a weekend down Dorset way staying in Weymouth for the weekend before travelling home via Bournemouth. Mainly shots of landscapes / scenery but the odd one you could call a bit weather related.

    Not my fault it rained on some of the shots :):)

    Wow there great :)

    some very good pics of wildlife and chesil beach there. like the shower pics too and that looks like it could be a funnel trying to form in pic 14 but it may just be scud

    Great pics there! The weather ones are really good, especially 12 and 14. Very threatening looking clouds in 14! :o Nice scenery ones too, looks like you got the good weather too. :)

    Really great Pics there, where was the location of the shots looking down on the Sand Spit with the Town in front ??

    The little town is Fortuneswell on the Isle of Portland with Chesil Beach beyond. The picture us taken from a great view point by the The Heights Hotel.

    1. Taken from Bowleaze Cove lookng across Weymouth Bay towards the Isle of Portland

    2. Taken from Bowleaze Cove looking left

    3. Caught these two deers on camera in a field behind our holiday park (Haven Weymouth Bay)

    4. They deers did a runner once it saw our lads liverpool shirt

    5,6,7,12,13. Chesil Beach (from as mentioned above)

    8,9. Portland Harbour. South Ship Channel entrance (near). East Ship Channel entrance (far)

    10,11. Portland Bill Lighthouse

    14. The roughest day of our long weekend - Saturday 12th April. Looked very threatening at times.

    15. View of Chesil Beach from the other side. Near Abbotsbury.

    16. Taken from the cliff top at Bournemouth. Pier on right. 'Old Harry Rocks' and the 'Isle Of Purbeck' in distance.

    17. On Bournemouth beach by the pier on the Monday 14th - Lovely day it was. Just make out the Isle of Wight Needles in centre of picture.

    Great shots of Chesil beach, I love Dorset - along with South Wales it has the best coastline in the country in my opinion. Far better than the North Sea coast dumps.
