A very warm and sunny start after an exceptionally warm night for May, with a minimum temperature of only 13.3c. At reading time the temperature is already at 20.1c with just a very light easterly wind and an almost cloudless sky. The morning and after continued sunny and became quite hot during the afternoon with the temperature reaching 25.9c, the hottest so far this year, maximum wind gust 19mph from the east.
