It's been absolutely hammering it down for the last hour and 20mins, my Weather Station has recorded rainfall of 20.7mm during that period. Not seen anything like it for a long, long time, the main road is flooded and the rain is making a nice swimming pool in the gravel at the front of the house, nice!

Currently 11.7 Degrees, Overcast and Raining (Heavy) with no signs of subsiding as I write.

Clear /sunny spells today, then sunny from about 1600, followed by a clear chilly late evening.

Moderate NNW wind, so although rather cool, it felt pleasant enough much of the afternoon.

An excellent day here today. It was sunny all day: after clear skies from dawn through to about 11am, clouds built from the northwest and tracked across the sky across the day but the sun felt lovely when sitting out in it! The amount of sunshine has helped result in a higher maximum than I thought we would get!
