It has - it's also been proven that men have a lower pain tolerance. We might be quicker to say "ouch", but we can cope with getting on with things a lot better while in agony.

Came across this earlier and thought I'd pop it in here instead of having a new thread...

http://www.newscientist.com/blog/shortshar...d_Anti-nonsense

That could be argued to be adaption rather than evolution.

We don't have a different species remember. Look at the phenotypical differences between certain human 'races'; some people have extra arteries in their feet to assist with altitude in parts of South America. Same species though; and no proof of the current view on 'evolution'. Which is a theory that cannot be solidly demonstrated in reality.

Oh the arrogance of scientists who think they can explain everything via their deductive methods. There may well be 'two' worlds that overlap (one being cause-effect and the other being that of creationism where matter dissapears\re-appears).

I just don't understand how people can stick two fingers up to evolution. That's my take on it.

Yup there's no doubt in my mind that Darwin got it spot on.And untill someone disproves the theory/fact it's what i'll stick to as well.

I treat nothing in the world as total fact....I only deal with things according to my own experience; and regard it as true only as long as I can measure it and be influenced by it in a consistent manner.

Some say theory is dead, the facts emerge from the morass by themselves - link

give it ten years and every theory will be dead

You just described science. It's lofty aim though, I think many people profess to live like that but actually do not.

Well that precludes anything smaller than the wavelength of light, then.
