Sunrise at Marsden

[multi cellular thunderstorm]

Hi,

Got up at 3:15 on Saturday morning to head to the coast for sunrise. The tide was very high which I hadn't checked, I only just made it onto the beach and had a close eye on my exit.

It wasn't long after I got home that the cloud rolled in bringing rain for much of the day, I certainly enjoy the best bit of the day :o

A very nice collection of photos there Mark, the warm long exposures are extremely good.

Just aswell it was calm as an easterly would have been quite damaging with tides so high,

i remember being on those stone steps dodging huge waves one spring tide!! Aye its the only

exit now until the steps are finished at the Grotto, the lift might have been workin though.

but still to far for an escape route..I havent been over there for awhile even though its only

20 minute walk from where i live.

I particularly like the one which is second from the bottom.

I love how you have captured the movement of the waves and the reflection of the sun in the water.

The colouring is wonderful too

You must be proud of those they are superb. Slightly concerned at the getting up time though! That's when I normally get to bed!
