A bright start, though with increasing cloud and a light shower early on. At reading time, partly cloudy with sunny spells, breezy. The day continued bright and breezy with sunny spells with a few showers close by, but only a few light spots were noted here. The evening saw a couple more light showers.

After some heavy downpours earlier, the late afternoon has turned a lot drier with some good spells of sunshine, there is quite a fresh breeze about however.

A dry and cloudy night but by 0645 g.m.t showers arrived from the south west and persisted for a couple of hours.

The showers were followed by two hours of dry weather with a few brief sunny intervals but by 1030 g.m.t heavier showers moved in from the south west ( though once again we missed the heaviest rain ) and continued until 1300.

The rest of the afternoon was cloudy and cool with occasional light showers and the wind veering from SW to N.
