The morning and afternoon saw a thickening layer of Cirrostratus and Altostratus, all though continuing bright, the sunshine was very hazy, a couple of moderate showers followed during the evening. [Terminal Moraine]

A spell of moderate-heavy rain from about 0345 until 0630 g.m.t after which time the rain became light and eventually cleared by 0900. It was followed by a few light showers around 0930 g.m.t but by midday the cloud had broken and there were a few sunny intervals.

A moderate shower between 1300 and 1315 g.m.t and another short one mid-afternoon. It then looked as if the showers were dying out but another batch arrived from the south west by 1650 g.m.t and there was a thunderstorm between then and 1720 g.m.t with a spell of heavy rain and 5 minutes of large hail ( 9-11mm diameter )
