The gates were open to kippure...was tempted to drive up.....there must be at least a foot of snow up there.

This last couple of days is almost as good as it got in midwinter over the last few years here in Dublin..... and this is only October.

Forget about all this global warming stuff.... all we need are the right synoptics and early winter cold in the right places.

A great omen for the rest of the winter.... sorry ... forgot it is still Autumn
