The main GFS is run to the highest resolution, and is shown on the ensembles below as the green line.

In addition to the GEFS is run and the main control run is shown as the blue run.

20 different ensembles runs are done, with a slightly different starting point, the idea being that if most ensemble runs go for a particular outcome, then the probability of this is better than if there is low agreement.
