A walk along the Lincs coast on Saturday yielded quite a few winter visitors, including good numbers of snow buntings and lapland buntings. Waxwings are also arriving in decent numbers and twites are starting to turn up too. The poor numbers of shore lark follow on from the last few winters where numbers of this species have collapsed.
