    Hello!

Just thought I'd post a few pics for critique I shot today. I timed a trip up to the top of York Minster with a nice orange sunset. It's a shame there was no easy way to steady the cam (no tripod :) ), hence I got a bit of camera shake but I'm very happy with the results. Also, there's a shot of Clifford's Tower, The Castle Museum (and Icerink!) and the City Screen Cinema across the River Ouse.

    I hope you enjoy!

Some stunners Gorky, fourth one down is my fav.. :)

I don’t know what you had in front of you, but I carry a small beanbag around when iv not got my tripod with me. Only a small one can fit easy into a bag or pocket, once placed on something can steady the camera nicely.

Enjoyed looking at your photos :)

Thanks! That's an idea and a half! I was out in York on a date, and whilst my camera was tolerated, I think lugging a 6 ft tripod around might not have been! :)

Nice shots Gorky, I miss York :)

Ha, my grandad would say that as well, he was a choir boy there and when he was older a guide

Yeah, I absolutely love 'York Minster' Katie; it's a wonderful building.

I spent many hours as a child drawing pictures of it, some of which I still have to this day.
