Today started very wet and the rain took until around 10.00 to finally die out and be replaced by bright, windy, cold conditions which have leasted through the rest of the day.

The maximum so far has been 6.7c and at present it's 5.7c with sunny spells, a strong gusty WNW wind and fast moving areas of Stratocumulus.

Brightened up by lunchtime, with a partly cloudy afternoon after a wet night and an overcast and mostly dry morning. Currently clear, 3.4 deg C - maximum 8.5, last night's minimum 2.8. We seem to be in a pattern of frequent wet and windy nights but mostly dry days with generally near normal temperatures - and the weekend outlook looks similar.

Been quite an interesting period of weather really with plenty of different weather throughout the day & night. Can be annoying (like this morning) but at least it isn't just grey & freezing cold all the time like earlier this month.

currentley here in south west london 2c but breeze makes it feel in the minus catorgory clear. a decent restbite after last nights very heavy rain woke me up at 2am with a bit off hail mixed in with the rainband and strong winds aswell.
