I think the server might slow slightly when there is a possible snow event on the way due to the number of people wanting to know if it will snow in Carlisle

I dont know about snow for carlisle, but for the met office to announce next week cold spell so far in advance it must be a sustained bitter spell of weather coming up in the next few weeks.

Try typing in www.metoffice.gov.uk instead of www.metoffice.com and the site should work for everyone.
