Just a few pics taken from round the house this morning. Currently working, but hoping to get out for a longer ramble later, so hoping for some better pics then.

From our window

Down the lane

Next door neighbours driveway !

Wading through the drifts !

I would say the drifts are approx 4 ft deep on the lane, but if I can get onto the moors later I'm hoping to find some bigger ones

(edited for spelling)

Great pictures, I took mine before it got really light, but you get the idea. The ones of the drifts in the garden did not come out, but they were beautiful, all curvy.

Thanks for the comments guys. Just back from a longer walk. Some really deep drifts up on the moors - ended up thigh deep at one point - which isn't great to be honest because it means snow filled wellies ! Haven't stepped in a drift that big since 1982 ! Pics are a mixture of drifts on the moors and scenes from the village. Hope you enjoy them. My personal favourite is no. 7 - a strange snow shape indeed !

Ha ha, cheers mate ! Judging from your pics we've both done quite well from this event. Wonder if Thursday/Friday has any more in store for us ?

Nice photos.

Oh I must say, I love you icicles!!! hardly see any these days ;o)

They remind me of what I saw in the late 80's or was it 1991?? An entire row of terraced houses with icicles like that hanging from the gutter.

Looked like something out of a horror movie.
