If what's currently over Exeter is expected to intensify as it heads north, I can't imagine how heavy it's going to be, and if it's snow.....!

my only concern is at present it seem slightly more East than first thought over France

Looks like northern France is getting a bit of a pasting at the moment.

Where is the weakening?

Circle has become much weaker, batch could miss southwales, southwest wales looking at the current direction of the bands.

I'm worried, I run a nightclub in Swansea and have to drive to Brynmawr on the Heads of the Valley at about 3 in the morning!

Still got approx 7 inches from Monday night!

The main band expected from midnight. That's the largest 'blob' on your radar shot, just approaching the Brest peninsula

Although most of it isn't giving any PPN to us.

Im a bit concerned now for the first time today.........Even though the trough down south might be heavy snow is that all there is to it

Yes I know its heavy but the stuff in France was meant to come here surely....

The radar is showing larger areas in Wales of snow...

edit I suppose its still in the developing stage

What wrong with the radar? Should have had moderate snow just now!

The only PPN on radar near Cardiff is north of it. No PPN near the city.

This shows the expected precipitation at 8pm and the blob on the earlier charts to the South West of Torbay, turns into the heavier precipitation over South Wales later in the evening. Before another of precipitation moves up for the afternoon .

However you will not the difference between this and UKMO, so nothing certain at all.
