Currently headings toward a frosty and icy night (where water still remains) expecting about -3 or -4C if it continues as currently doing.

Currently: 3.7C (falling a rate of 1C every 10 minutes now, should be -1C by 1am on trend)

Maximum y/day: 10.9C

Minimum: y/day 7.1C

A lovely sunny and mild morning although a couple of degrees down on the last few days. A low of 6c now 6.5c. Hopefully the predicted cloud keeps away!

A lovely sunny and mild morning although a couple of degrees down on the last few days. A low of 6c now 6.5c. Hopefully the predicted cloud keeps away!

A vain hope I think, Bottesford. Sunny intervals to start the day here too, but there's a thick sheet of stratocumulus spreading from the north which has just shut out any sunshine, and seems to be heading in your direction.

Slightly cooler this morning with the temp' currently 5.1c after a min' of 3.4c and a grass min' of 0.0c.

Wind is 10 mph NW. Vis', 8 miles.

Still a few small snowdrifts remaining despite a week of thawing.

A little cooler this morning after a few cloud breaks overnight allowed the temperature to fall low enough for a ground frost, grass minimum –1.1c. At observation, bright and calm, with the sun breaking through the thin medium level cloud.

A very sharp line moving south. Still sunny at the moment so I better stand out in it before it goes. Now 9.3c so might just make 10c before sunlight shutdown.

After a dull and misty morning with a short spell of rain, this afternoon has been much brighter with some early spring sunshine and it felt lovely outside in temperatures of 11.5C. Marvellous. :(

Dull start with thick fog at work in Basingstoke - we had an almost springlike sunny interval (just the one) for a few minutes in the morning, but the murk soon descended again. Currently around 10 deg C after an overnight minimum of 6.3. Wind: currently calm.

Yesterday: dull with fog in the morning, drizzle in the evening, and minimal wind. Maximum 10.1, minimum 7.4.
