A Few Storm Fronts

Been having a few cool looking "storm fronts" (Mainly rain), coming from the monsoon trough nearby. They usually pop up at around 4pm in the afternoon. Haven't seen many of these in Cairns, but they are very long!

Very nice! lucky thing, as much as I love the snow there is nothing better than seeing those big dark clouds looming!

That's because they're higher based clouds, quite possibly anvils of further away storms, which are reflecting the sunlight. Cool shots .
