A much brighter start than recently with a little sunshine breaking through, slightly cooler though even with a touch of ground frost early on, minimum on the grass –0.1c. A bright day followed with some good sunny spells developing by the end of the morning and in to the afternoon. Feeling very pleasant with a maximum temperature 11.0c, maximum wind gust, 22mph

So much for sun most of the day, in the last hour the cloud has really developed, gone from glorious sun to mostly cloud with a few blue bits and pieces. 8.4c now, might be struggling to reach the 13c the BBC said this morning, although Netweather always said it would only reach 10c today.
