When the stream works for 5 seconds you can see how much lightning there is! They will be getting some more amazing lightning pics!

The team will again have some fantastic lightning shots/video, but still a tornado eludes them, maybe tomorrow they will have the opportunity havent checked the forecast for tomorrows slight risk will do that in the morning.....enjoy the light show, i'm off for the great duvet show... night all.

not too sure about tomorrow - play will probably be on the dryline due to no upper level lift and a stout cap - my initial stab in the dark would be SW OK - maybe somewhere like Altus..

what are your thoughts TC ?

I'm currently thinking that Wichita Falls TX to Aspermont TX will be the chase zone for Friday, reason being that a re-set further south is taking place as pressures rise over OK and higher thicknesses push north into NM. This will have the effect of inducing strong frontogenesis from just south of Childress east along the Red River valley, with hot, humid air streaming north to about the I-20, and the dry line re-setting and approaching from near Big Spring towards Abilene and setting off afternoon supercell development.

The first part of the day will be a case of back-door cold front action pushing southwest across the TX-OK border to set up the boundary for later development. When the front stalls, this is about when development should become explosive. I thinik tomorrow will produce big-time severe storms.
