not sure if this is the right place.feel free to move if not.

these conditions were unrelenting for over 95 mins.

It was interesting to watch these cells from Darlington as they built somewhere over the top end of North Yorkshire then moved up the east side of the Pennines. It was hoofing it down with rain on the A66 near Bowes but places like Richmond stayed totally dry, as it did here all day. The last cell to move north past here was at 8pm, looking into the Vale of York it was blue skies after that. I gather NW Durham got a bit of a pasting during the storm, gardens washed away, roads closed etc
