Massive Cb's to the North and East of London at present, these cells are like summer storms but it is getting a lot colder now, temp 7.8c falling rapidly and the wind is getting up, must be quite near outflow of one of these cells.

About 17-15 hrs I had very dark clouds come over and I thought I was going to have a thunderstorm, but I didnt.

Keef (partner) phoned me from Twickenham and said its raining and had one clap of thunder. :roll:

Today reminds me very strongly of those frequent cold, showery, northerly days that I associate with the spring of 1995. Most clouds here are cumuliform too, and we've just had a sharp shower; admittedly it fell as rain, but there have been some clouds nearby which look like they almost certainly contained hail.
