Grange Moor, Nr. Emley Moor, have had solid snow since 11.30 this morning and still coming down thick and fast. Nice and crunchy under foot and looks lovely, no sign of stopping either. :)

Great stuff, you always seem to do well up there. I can remember when I lived in Wakefield that we often missed out and you could see Emley mast surrounded in snow, I was often very jealous.

I was out with my fiancée, in the local park, during mid-afternoon and tried to photograph Emley Moor, but couldn't see it through all the snowfall :(

The temperature here was hovering at around freezing, when I looked around 5 minutes ago - though it was partly cloudy as well.

Excellent - same here :wallbash: The timing of this afternoons snowfall couldn't have been more perfect, as it replaced the snow I'd lost this-morning.

Yes, I saw your pics - they were very good.

There are some amazing scenes in there atm :good:

I love the snow but, we are flying out from Manchester airport on Wednesday to the Canaries so I just want to get over Saddleworth Moor early hours of Wednesday Morning, hope it will clear a bit by then.

I know this may sound a bit silly. But has anyone tried to build a snowman recently, and like me, found it's the wrong

kind of snow? The stuff we've just had doesn't want to stick together :)
