Cycled home with neither gloves nor hat - felt like I'd emerged from a cocoon of clothing after the last few weeks. Instead the other problem of overheating in the big coat has appeared. You need it when setting off as it isn't that mild but after 10-15 mins you're too hot - the usual state of affairs for winter returns!
